Set in the futuristic city where technology is approximately 20 years ahead of the rest of the world and taking up roughly 1/4 of Japan is Akina City. As if that weren‘t something out of the ordinary, the scientists there had discovered what is considered to be "e;God‘s gift to humanity"e;; a protein named "e;Laminin"e;. This special protein, much like Akina City, holds many secrets as well as untapped potential. For when Laminin is activated in the human body, it grants the person an ability, such as pyrokinesis or flight. Upon this discovery, the Japanese government created a level system to determine how much power a Laminin user has; with Level 1 being the weakest to Level 7 being the strongest one can become.
