Its purpose is to preserve memory and forming a collective conscience. Cultural heritage is nowadays a powerful tool of communication and a valid means to disseminate knowledge. In this respect, technology plays an important role as it offers different channels to disseminate culture. Many different experiences have been developed to promote cultural heritage tourism by improving the level and quality of interaction between the visitor and the goods.
