Today, food is art and necessity, tradition and future, hope and concern. The preservation of our planet is closely related to how we, as its inhabitants, learn to reexamine and transform our eating habits. Almost simultaneously, food has become an extraordinarily innovative means for art and creativity. Cooks are artists, scientists, and gurus. For photographers and bloggers, fruits and vegetables are the new supermodels, and product ers have found an unlimited field of experimentation and creation. Food Futures presents a collection of projects illustrating the possibilities that new technologies open up to ers and the way we perceive food from a perspective.
