ISadoville: an isolated continental metropolis, sometime in a 1950‘s era that never was, where the rules of society are very different. Here, naked public humiliation is used to punish female offenders, and house maids are kept as sex slaves. Even free women have something to fear: their number coming up the city‘s Defilement Lottery when anybody who can claim them can make intimate use of them. It is no place for a pretty and innocent woman from the provinces, and yet Danielle Gironde has come to Sadoville searching for her missing sibling Beatrice, surrendering her pride and modesty as she does so. During her perverse adventures, Danielle discovers tantalising clues to Beatrice‘s life in the city, but still she cannot find her.
