Harriet Brewster has a simple goal: become a mystery writer. Her caveat? Her stories can‘t contain any blood, gore, or paranormal ridiculousness. She‘s certain she‘ll be most comfortable with a few mischievous tabbies in a bookstore where many of the volumes have been mysteriously mis-shelved. She has a carefully curated list of Possible Perils to be Found in Bucolic English Villages in her notebook, some extra dental floss in her backpack, and her parents‘ rented cottage to go hide in if things get out of hand. What she absolutely didn‘t expect was to discover that TD Piaget is a gorgeous, thirty-something hunk with a lovely pair of gray eyes and a killer smile. She also hadn‘t counted on his being more than he seems-or someone entirely different-but she‘s nothing if not determined to solve the mystery of him. Samuel de Piaget is up to his eyeballs in drama: a show in Stratford going sideways, match-making ghosts infesting his kitchen, and being bamboozled into pretending to be his twin brother at a mystery writer‘s conference. Only a meet-cute behind a ficus tree leaves him looking at Harriet the Faery Maiden and finding himself thoroughly smitten.
