Beauty will always be in the eye of the beholder, so it is important in pedodontics to distinguish the esthetic desires of the dentist and the parent from the esthetic needs of the child patient.As pedodontic esthetics are a starting point to teenage and adult esthetics, a foundation should be established in this age group. It is the primary responsibility of the clinician to help create, guide and maintain an ongoing state in oral health as the foundation for all present and future esthetic needs.It is clear that even with today‘s many choices, new ones will emerge.
