Missing life

I cannot count the number of people I have met in private sessions or among my acquaintances who complain to me about this strange change that has occurred in them: I am no longer the same as before, something strange has happened to me, I am missing something essential in my life. This complaint takes many forms. Perhaps I have lost passion or The vitality that was in my life has been extinguished, or I have lost the vitality that was in my life, and I have not found a more accurate description of all these changes than missing life. I miss my previous life. I miss the feelings of amazement that used to afflict me and make me endure some of the pains of life. I miss things that meant a lot to me.
